Stepping up to Lead

For every obstacle that we face as a borough, there are Manhattanites who are stepping up to find solutions, to organize for action, to directly serve people in need.

Despite their efforts, there is no getting around it: We need government to do better at every level. We need a City government that solves problems for New Yorkers, that invests in creating opportunity for everyone, that cares for the vulnerable, that defends our people and our values and our finances when they are under attack from Washington or anywhere.
