15 COVID fatalities ea. in BK & Qns yesterday. What affects one borough affects all of us. This pandemic is not over but we know how to fight it. We’ve flattened and brought down the curve before. Masks, avoid travel, avoid congregating, essential distanced shopping only.
We are only as healthy as the weakest and most vulnerable among us. And we will reap what we sow if we leave anyone behind. That is the biggest lesson of this pandemic, a lesson we have not yet learned and taken to heart. We need a plan to vaccinate New Yorkers in prisons.
