Back to School Guide

Start this school year off strong with our Back to School Resource Guide.

Manhattan’s diverse families deserve resources tailored to their needs. Our Back to School Guide is packed full of resources that help all students, including sections for immigrant families, students with disabilities, families facing food insecurity, and more. Have a happy return to school, and a successful rest of the school year.

A guide for the first day of school – and the day after!

With nearly one million students in enrolled in K-12 classes, New York City’s public schools make up the nation’s largest school district. Manhattanites deserve easy access to the best our borough has to offer to keep students engaged, active, and excited about learning. That’s why my office created this year’s Back to School Resource Guide, a comprehensive list of resources offering services ranging from mentorship to college-readiness to athletic programs and more.

Our goal is to do the research needed to bring Manhattan’s families quality resources so you don’t have to – we know how hectic the Back to School season can be! If you need a hand with something not in the guide, my office is here to help. Please contact us by phone at 212-669-8300 or by email at [email protected]

Sincerely,
Brad Hoylman-Sigal
