FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Humane Holiday Market Announces Free Community Shopping Event at Sanger Hall
The Humane Holiday Market will be held on Saturday January 3, 2026 from 2 pm to 5 pm at Sanger Hall. This is a free and low cost community shopping event created to support people during a season that can stretch both energy and budgets. Everyone is welcome to come pick up free clothing, browse low cost items under 20, and take part in a simple give swap sell setup that keeps things easy and stress free.
The market will include curated clothing racks, small essentials, handmade items, and room for anyone who wants to bring pieces to sell or trade. Organized by artists and community builders CHANT3L and Lailani Gibson, the event centers dignity and care so it feels more like a warm neighborhood boutique than a donation drive.
Because Sanger Hall is a small venue, RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Anyone who RSVPs will receive priority entry and early access to the best items. Organizers will also try to set aside select pieces for attendees who share specific needs in advance.

The Humane Holiday Market was created in response to community requests for accessible, judgment free spaces during the holiday season. By offering free items, low cost options, and opportunities for neighbors to participate as sellers, the event offers a meaningful alternative to traditional holiday shopping and helps strengthen community connection.
People who want first pick or set-aside options are encouraged to RSVP as soon as possible. Clothing and small item donations can be dropped off at 1 pm before the market opens.
