Draft Environmental Impact Statements Hearing on Freedom Plaza

The New York State Gaming Commission is the Lead Agency for the proposed project, Freedom Plaza, for the purposes of the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) process.

The public comment period will remain open until September 5, 2025 or 10 days after the close of public hearing, whichever is later.  Written comments on the DEIS will be accepted until 5:00 PM on September 5, 2025 or 10 days after the close of public hearing, whichever is later.

A Final EIS will be issued in accordance with 6 NYCRR § 617.9.
