The Space In Between

All Street Gallery presents The Space In Between, featuring new works by Grace Lynne Haynes and Cassandra Mayela Allen, on view May 1–20, 2025, at the gallery’s 77 East Third Street location. As the BolsterArts Residency’s culminating show, it unites two practices rooted in cultural storytelling and reinterpretations of tradition—Haynes through Afro-Futurist symbolism, and Mayela Allen through indigenous textile translations. Though their mediums differ, both artists engage deeply with form, memory, and the act of constructing layered cosmologies. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, May 1, from 6–9 PM.
