New York State Assembly Member Rebecca A. Seawright, State Senator Liz Krueger, and the New York City Department of Sanitation invite Roosevelt Island residents to a no-cost community shredding event.
Residents may bring personal paper documents for secure shredding and disposal. Notebooks, bindings, and X-rays cannot be accepted.
The event will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Motorgate Turnaround, 688 Main Street, Roosevelt Island, NY 10044.
