Community Sukkah Viewing

Step inside one of Fifth Avenue’s grandest landmarks. For two special windows this fall, Temple Emanu-El opens its Sanctuary to the public, showcasing a towering, art-filled sukkah — a temporary structure adorned with elaborate florals and autumnal crops, built each year for the Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot. Visitors are welcome to explore, take photographs, and join a short Sanctuary tour.

When:
Wednesday, September 30 | 5–7 PM (Sanctuary tour at 5:30 PM)
Thursday, October 1 | 10 AM–12 PM (Sanctuary tour at 10:30 AM)

Where: Temple Emanu-El, One East 65th Street at Fifth Avenue, New York, NY

Cost: Free and open to the public

The nearest subway stations are the 5 Av/59 St N/R/W and the 4/5/6 at 59th street. The M1/M2/M3/M4 southbound bus stops stop at Madison Ave and 66th Street and there is a M1/M2/M3/M4 northbound stop at 66th street.
