Housing Manhattanites: 2025 Edition
The first edition of Housing Manhattanites, published in 2023, identified nearly 200 sites ideal for building new housing in our borough, ranging the full gamut from 100% affordable to market-rate. In just 2 years, almost 10,000 new units are making progress in Manhattan. Policies like the lifting of the 12 FAR cap and the passing of the Midtown South Mixed-Use Plan have opened the doors of opportunity for even more housing. And Manhattanites like yourself have done their own part to identify new sites included in our biggest update to Housing Manhattanites.
