Ways You Can Report A Hate Crime in New York

There are many ways to report a hate crime in NYC, including:

  • A Crime in progress call 911
  • Hate Crimes that occurred in the past:
    • Call your local NYC precinct
    • Call Hate Crimes Task Force directly (1-888-440-HATE) or email at [email protected]
  • Bias incidents, harassment, or discrimination:
    • Report to CCHR (212-416-0197)
  • State Resources:
  • Manhattan DA:  212-335-3100
  • Reporting to Non-profits:
    • Some have forms or hotlines, and some will help represent you or help you file a complaint, including these organizations:
      • 67th Precinct Clergy Council: 646-779-6767
      • Arab American Association of New York: 718-745-3523
      • Asian American Federation: 718-939-6137
      • Hispanic Federation: 212-233-8955
      • Jewish Community Relations: 212-983-4800
