Ways You Can Report A Hate Crime in New York
There are many ways to report a hate crime in NYC, including:
- A Crime in progress call 911
- Hate Crimes that occurred in the past:
- Call your local NYC precinct
- Call Hate Crimes Task Force directly (1-888-440-HATE) or email at [email protected]
- Bias incidents, harassment, or discrimination:
- Report to CCHR (212-416-0197)
- State Resources:

- Online form for reporting hate crimes with the state Division of Human Rights Hate and Bias Prevention Unit. (https://forms.ny.gov/s3/DHR-Bias-Incident-Form)
