After departing Washington, D.C., King Charles and Queen Camilla are now in New York City. While it is not their first time in the New York, it is their inaugural visit to the city as King and Queen.
“When King Charles and Queen Camilla visit Manhattan, I hope they get a chance to experience a city that welcomes immigrants, supports free expression, celebrates diversity, and has the best bagels and lox in the world,” Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal told T&C ahead of their arrival. “No matter what they may have been told by a certain former New Yorker on the first leg of their tour, New York City represents the best of America. And I hope Their Majesties get a chance to catch the subway!”
