I am tremendously proud to introduce the next class of appointments to Manhattan’s 12 Community Boards – my first since taking over the Borough President Office. My office received the second-highest number of applications ever seen by the MBPO. Of those, there was a significant increase in first-time applicants. You can find a full list of appointees here.As our borough faces many difficult challenges, it was inspiring to witness the energy and drive of so many of our neighbors to get involved in shaping the future of our borough. Manhattanites are not backing down from the challenges we face and have only become more determined over the pandemic to continue the work of improving our borough for the future.
