NY Daily News: ‘Vax Daddy,’ Dr. Jay Varma join Manhattan borough president’s COVID recovery task force

“Vax Daddy” and a top disease doc are joining an effort to bring Manhattan back from the ravages of the coronavirus pandemic.

Huge Ma, who earned the “Daddy” moniker for creating a website that helped New Yorkers find vaccination appointments, and Dr. Jay Varma, who served as a senior adviser to former Mayor Bill de Blasio, are volunteering for Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine’s new COVID recovery task force.
